Diapers are difficult to choose from. So many brands, and so many options! We were lucky to be gifted so many boxes of diapers at our shower that we haven't had to buy any besides the preemies we unexpectedly needed at first for our little 5 pounder.

I'd love to use cloth diapers, I just didn't have the time to learn about them and prepare for them when she arrived early - so for now disposable it is.

Here is what we've thought of brands so far.

Pampers Swaddlers

This is what we have the most of! Seems like everyone gifted us these. They work well and run bigger than huggies for us. Haven't really had any issues with them. Seem to be a little more expensive than Huggies.

Pampers Baby Dry

Loved these but only had one box of them in newborn size. We haven't tired them in any larger sizes. They were very, very absorbent and kept her super dry! When we have to buy some ourselves, this will likely be our go to!

Pampers Pure

Less chemically than other diapers! Cute designs. Keep her dry. Did get a slight rash with them, but I don't think that was the diapers fault. Last overnight. We did have one leak and one blowout but I think that was parenting fails of not putting them on the best when overly tired. Recommended, but wouldn't be my absolute go to brand.

Huggies Little Snugglers

Love these although they seem to run smaller for us than other brands. She tends to need to be sized up in these before all others. They keep her nice and dry, they last overnight, and don't give her a rash. Tend to be a little cheaper than Pampers. Highly recommended!

Target Up & Up

These were great when she was in the newborn size. You get more bang for your buck. However we tried a massive box in size 2 and hated them. She got a rash and was always wet down there. They weren't very absorbent at all. Not recommended past newborn size.

I still have a few brands I would love to try but won't be trying them until we have to actually purchase some.

Where To Buy

Highly recommend buying your diapers at Target during one of their sales! You can often spend $100 (super easy to do with diapers) and get $15 or $20 gift card back. Be sure to also use the circle app to add in extra coupons!
