Linkimals Review

If you followed me for any amount of time, you probably know Addyson and I absolutely love the linkimals made by Fisher Price. We use them daily! We got one to make tummy time more fun and our collection quickly grew. Now all we have almost the complete collection, just missing sloth. We are hoping Fisher Price will be out with some others soon! 

So why do we love them? They are amazing! They all link together and sing and dance. Each character has their own variety of songs. They all have the welcome song included but otherwise each character has it’s unique songs. Yes, you will be singing them. But no, I don’t find them annoying and can honestly listen to these things all day since there is so much variety. 

So which are our favorites? Let me break down each one below. 

Penguin
OUR FAVORITE! Penguin is hands down our favorite. My husband loves penguins so we knew we had to get this one. He dances while the others mostly stay stationary so he is the one we use the most to keep tummy time engaging. His songs are also the longest – some of them seem like they are two minutes long! He also raps, who wouldn’t love that! 

Panda
I have a love hate relationship with the panda. I love that he teaches manners! I hate that he is plush while all the others are hard so getting him to sit up is nearly impossible. Lots of cute songs! Talks about please & thank you and lots of other things! 

Beaver
Another super cheap one that we love! To get him to play you just push down his head and his tail will flap and he begins to sing. He does a find and seek shape activity! 

Otter
This is a great one to learn the ABC’s. You can do a search and find to find the letter he tells you to find. I absolutely love this feature for when Addy begins learning letters. Be sure to roll the ball on the bottom right corner for even more songs! Be sure to also not miss the A – Z button to hear the alphabet song. Each letter has multiple things associated with it as well. 

Sea Turtle
This is one of our newest ones to the collection and we love him! He actually moves when you push down the white button on top, but doesn’t move well or at all on carpet. Be sure to play with him on a hard surface for the full fun. He has a lot of adorable songs! He also reminds me a lot of the sea turtles in Finding Nemo that I am huge fans of. Highly recommend him! 

Moose
Super cute one and one of the cheaper ones! He is a tiny little thing compared to the rest. Plays a lot of mariachi type music that Addyson just loves! To get him to play you push his belly. I always seem to want to push his head to make him sing. 

Llama
This is my least favorite in the whole collection, but I still love it. Llamas are one of our favorite animals in this house so we were super excited. I love that it is stacking rings so it’s like getting two toys in one. However, the head doesn’t lock on, well at least I haven’t figured out how to do it if it does. I always try to pick it up by the head and it goes crashing all over the floor. Would love it much more if it locked on. I do think Addy will love this one much more when she starts being able to take the rings off and put them back on.

Koala
One of our favorites! I even learned things from some of the songs. Like did you know a koala is a marsupial? Love that they use words like this in the songs because when else would your child be exposed to this kind of amazing vocabulary? Be sure to spin the shape wheel on the tree for fun songs! If you count 1 through 10 on the tree he also does some fun things! Highly recommend the koala! 

Hedgehog
Hedgehog is much bigger than I expected him to be! It is a pull along toy so I bet this will be one of Addy’s favorite when she becomes more mobile. Him and the Koala cooperate really well together since they both teach a lot of numbers. Has some cute songs that go with it. We like him, but he isn’t our favorite. 

Sloth
Review to come when we get him! I do know he has a strange voice that doesn’t fit in with the rest.
